PetriDish Software, Lda.

Our company name, PetriDish Software Lda., is homage to Julius Richard Petri, who invented the so-called Petri dishes, while he was working as a research assistant in the laboratory of the not-less-famous Robert Koch.

Petri dishes are a simple invention, but brilliant. Their quick adoption made some laboratory practices so straightforward that today one rarely thinks about the difficulties that existed before Petri dishes were invented.

Similarly, PetriDish Software is an innovative company by nature, devoted to the development and implementation of simple but smart software solutions that lead to "silent revolutions" in research labs worldwide. We humbly aim at making a Scientist's life so much easier, to the point that one day no one will understand how it would be possible to work without some of our software solutions.
